SPEED LIMITS

The maximum speed limit in urban areas is 80 km/h, while on highways it is 120 km/h

TRAFFIC SIGNALS

Always obey traffic signals, including traffic lights, stop signs, and yield signs.

ALCOHOL BEHIND THE WHEEL

under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Heavy fines and penalties are imposed for violations, including licence suspension and imprisonment.

SEAT BELTS

Seat belts must be worn by all occupants of a vehicle, including passengers in the rear seats.

GIVING THE WAY

Yield to pedestrians at designated crossings and give way to vehicles on the right at intersections unless otherwise indicated.
