AT THE CIRCUIT

We have some practical tips to ensure you don't have any worries or concerns during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.

FOOD AND DRINK

Food and beverage vendors at the circuit focus on offering fans a wide variety of international and local culinary options, ensuring there’s something to suit every taste.

Please be aware that alcohol is not sold in public areas of the circuit. Additionally, you are not permitted to bring your own food or drinks into the circuit, except for children's refreshments.

Smoking is not allowed.

Most payments can be made by credit card. There is also an ATM located near the Main Grandstand, close to Spiral F, and adjacent to the prayer tent.

COMMUNICATIONS

Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone; from tickets to maps and information about your favourite rider. There is a risk that the mobile networks may be overloaded at the circuit and you may not have a data connection, especially on Sundays. So, you may not be able to call your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. just like in the old days when there were no mobile phones.

NOISE

Don't forget that motorsport is very noisy. While the noise is tolerable in the normal stands, make sure you wear earplugs if you're closer to the track. If you're travelling with children, make sure they have ear protectors.

WEATHER

Tradicionaly, MotoGP races in Qatar are held in Spring (especially in March).

In March, Qatar enjoys a warm and agreeable climate as it transitions into spring. Daytime temperatures typically range between 20°C (68°F) and 27°C (81°F), while nights cool down to about 18°C (64°F). Rainfall is infrequent and light, with an average of 12 mm (0.5 inches) over the month and only a few rainy days. The month is characterised by plentiful sunshine, with around 241 hours, making it perfect for outdoor activities. The overall weather is comfortable, with moderate humidity, particularly in coastal regions like Doha.

If you want up-to-date weather information, we recommend using the Windy app.
