RULES FOR VISITORS

As with other MotoGP events, Qatar Grand Prix visitors must abide by the rules set by the organisers. Below you will find a basic overview of them.

WHAT CAN'T YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

Items that can be used to damage or deface property - or any part of the circuit and its surroundings - as well as obstructions, hindrances or interruptions to the race, affecting public safety, as well as any merchandise or tickets for commercial distribution and any dangerous items, are prohibited by law.

Anyone entering the entertainment area will be subject to a check/search.

Refusal may result in not being admitted without a refund. Please note that certain items are not allowed to be brought into the entertainment area.

The list of prohibited items includes, but is not limited to:

  • Bags larger than 75 cm in any dimension
  • Fireworks
  • Weapons of all types
  • Compressed air canisters
  • Narcotics
  • Glass containers
  • More than one package of medicines (only a single package with up to 7 types is permitted)
  • Musical instruments over 120 cm in length
  • Umbrellas longer than 40 cm
  • Wireless communication devices, such as two-way radios
  • Promotional materials with religious or political content
  • Face masks and helmets (unless required for medical reasons)
  • Food and drinks (except children's food)
  • Animals (except personal assistance dogs)
  • Sports equipment
  • Loudspeakers
  • Lighters
  • Laser devices
  • Drones
  • Work and maintenance tools
  • Banners exceeding dimensions of 2x1.5 metres

WHAT CAN YOU TAKE WITH YOU?

We generally recommend visitors of MotoGP races to pack light and take only the essentials - money, phone, spare battery for their camera, etc. There is a wide range of food and drinks available at the race circuit, of course, don't forget your ticket for each specific day and valid ID for yourself and your children.

WHEN ATTENDING THE MOTOGP, PLEASE AVOID THE FOLLOWING BEHAVIOURS:

  • Exhibiting signs of intoxication or alcohol impairment leading to irresponsible actions
  • Engaging in actions that could harm or endanger others
  • Throwing any objects
  • Using offensive or abusive language and gestures
  • Displaying inconsiderate behaviour towards fellow attendees
  • Acting in a disorderly manner
  • Wearing obscene or indecent clothing
  • Smoking outside designated areas
  • Sitting or standing in the aisle ways
  • Attempting to access restricted areas or the racetrack
  • Bringing prohibited items into the venue
  • Harassing fans of opposing teams or riders
